Disgusting practice - if you have mental health problems phone 111 this practice gives zero craps, phoned for my partner at 8am he was given an appointment for 6pm then phoned back at 11am to tell him he will now have to wait till Thursday can’t offer him a note to provide work while he is struggling and waits till he talks to a dr yet he can’t get hold one till the Thursday it’s MONDAY!?? I have been calling this GP for an appointment for my 6 year old daughter. I called 8 in the morning and I was told all the appointments are gone and was asked to call in the afternoon at 2 as they have afternoon appointments available. I set alarm so that I don’t miss this and called the GP right at 2pm. After waiting in Q I was attended at 2.06 only to know that all the afternoon appointments are gone. I clearly don’t understand how people get appointments in this GP.

I was a patient of Dr Mason for around a year. I attended 3/4 appointments with him with the same symptoms, and every single time he dismissed my concerns, and instead of performing any exams, he said it was just anxiety and sent me for therapy. He ignored advice of doctors from the hospital and what I told him about my previous doctor's approach to the matter, belittling me and the issue by saying I'm "not in my home country anymore" and "that's not how they do it here". I’ve been a patient of this practice since I was five years old, when it was Dr. Bose on Robson Street, over 40 years ago, which is now Great Homer Street Medical. Alison my nurse is amazing, She is incredibly thoughtful and always goes above and beyond to make sure I’m well taken care of.
