Good help is hard to find? Why would a business make reservations for a specific time and then wait for hours before they even begin to groom your pet. The simple answer-- overbooking and more business than they can handle. Well they just lost mine. The price may be reasonable and the grooming may be satisfactory, but the waiting is atrocious. My dog endured this a few times and dreaded coming here. Well, no more.
I'll never go back!!!! Very unprofessional when I dropped my yorkie off and the cut was choppy and too short. I gave them a second chance and it was the same thing..along with my dog being nervous for a couple of hours after picking her up. I would not advise going there,...I won't be going back. I would give them minus 2 stars
Excellent service! I just got my dog back from Great Grooms. She arrived there looking pretty scuffy. I got her back happy, pretty and smelling a lot better! The cost was completely affordable and well worth it. Terry even saw me struggling to get 2 babies out of the car at pick up time and met me outside so I wouldn't have to move them. As far as I'm concerned, we have a new groomer. BITE ME Heritage Groomers on Tower and Hampden! You will never get my business!!

DO NOT Take Your Pet Here! After being at this groomer for 10 hours, my pup was shaved down to hardly any hair...some areas cleaned to the skin. It was not a professional 'shave' if there is such a thing... Why would a pet be at a groomer for 10 hours for a 20 minute scalping! Unprofessional shop! Beware!
Mrs. I bought Great Grooms in June of 1987. We have been around longer than any other grooming shop in Aurora, I think that petty much says it all. We are able to keep our prices at a minimum by not using a receptionist. Therefore, there are times all of the groomers are very busy. Our little customers are important to us and all of my groomers are kind, gentle, and very experienced. We are also recommended by many of the surrounding veterinarians. Give us a call or come on in. Good to your pet! I have a maltese who needs to be groomed quite often, it was a great price for all the work they do. I get him shaved, clean up the face and trim the nails with a bath....only $35!! It only costs $5 for triming nails, which is great price and they usually will do it right away. But I think I'm done taking him there since when we get home I always have to fix the hair on his face and trim other's parts that somehow didn't get cut when I requested hime to be shaved!
I'm Pleased I have a much older dog, Schnauzer, that has bad eye sight and bad hearing. This is compounded by numerous tumors all over his body, plus he has trouble standing on linoleum. My groomer of 28 years suggested that I take my friend to a groomer closer to home that could get him in and out. Lost My Business I used Great Grooms for a little over a year. They groomed my female cockpoo from the time I brought her home at 3 months old until she was well over a year old. Initially, the service was "OK" - nothing special. But hairbuts kept getting shorter and shorter. They pretty much ignored my requests to leave the length of her coat as-is.
