My 82 year old mom and I came and paddled the Waccamaw River with Bubba. He was a great guide and we really enjoyed exploring the high water through the trees. Don’t be afraid. If my mom can do it, so can you:). It was a great experience!
Our guided kayak adventure took us to a deserted island off North Myrtle Beach—no Skipper, no Gilligan, just sunshine, seashells and salt water. Our tour guide, Bubba, gets 5-stars from us! He was casual, fun and informative.
Update: I recently did the marsh tour with Great Escapes and had another wonderful experience. It was just me and my parents, so we got our own private tour from Bubba 😉. We learned a lot and had a great time. I will definitely be a returning paddler and will recommend to anyone looking for a unique kayaking experience. For the three hour tour to a secluded island, the price was 👍. The two tour guides knew the waterways well along with the wildlife.
