Their billing dept is terrible. They do not recognize Emergency transports from Hospital to Hospital, as emergencies. Thusly, your Insurance Company may refuse to pay the hefty bill as their coding is incorrect. It's their policy to bill that way they say. Terrible to contact, terrible 3rd party billing service.
While I am thankful for the care that I received while under an emergency situation I'm not completely pleased with the service. The EMT that took care of me was pretty rude to myself (while I'm internally bleeding and going in and out of consciousness) as well as very rude to my girlfriend who was in the ambulance with me who already wasn't having a good night due to my unexpected emergency. We live 5 miles outside of Cable and I took a pretty bad fall in my basement. Great Divide Ambulance Service responded so quickly! Tony and the rest of the crew were just wonderful!! They were very professional yet so easy to talk with and so reassuring. I hope they know how VERY much they are appreciated! They sure are in the right profession! It takes a certain type of person to do what they do-and especially to do it so well! Thank you SO much!!
Incredible! My 5 yr old grandson had an anaphylactic reaction to a wasp sting and I was extremely happy with the way they treated him! They also made me feel very comfortable and the quick ride to the hospital was perfect. My daughter is a 911 dispatcher and dispatching supervisor for our county and they know her on the radio.
