I accompanied my partner to donate her hair today, and unfortunately the experience was really disappointing. She called to obtain details about hair donation, and was told she needed at least 12 inches of hair to donate. The full length to be cut was decided in person at the salon but an additional 3 inches were cut. For something as significant as donating your hair, there should be clear communication every step of the way. I’ve been coming to this Great Clips location with my child for the past 4–5 years and have generally had good experiences. On our most recent visit, however, the staff appeared to be different from the stylists we were used to. There were two women working. One (Asian I believe) had a very pleasant demeanor and was welcoming. The other repeatedly mentioned that she had been hair for 25 years, but unfortunately came across as rude and condescending throughout our interaction.
