I have been to Great Clips in two different cities. Most recently here in Manchester. I have had horrible experiences both times. I will NEVER go to another one!! Apparently they only know one way to cut hair, razor cut or scissor cut scalp. I only went there because my hairdresser was on an extended vacation. I've never had a bad experience at Great Clips. They keep my notes on exactly how I want my haircut. It's consistent every time and if I want to change something, they are always very accommodating.
