I was already having bad week and wanted to do something for myself. I sit in this older white woman’s chair. Im a mixed race Latina my curls tend to tangle easy even when brushed because it’s thick. My hair wasn’t a matted mess just slightly tangled. This woman was so rude to me I can’t believe I’m actually crying in the parking lot. I was told she’s not going to detangle my hair in the most nastiest way possible. I was told her time is money and to get out of her chair. They don’t offer detangle services. The wait time for walk ins is a little rough, and wasn't helped by there only being two staff members on hand but a queue of 5 people. The actual haircut was solid. The hairdresser confirmed what I was expecting and wanting, confirmed many times throughout the haircut if it was okay before continuing, and overall I was treated very well. The establishment is within German Village so there's ample food and drink while you wait. The location is very clean and sanitary. Parking is good and accessible.
