Avoid the “fedora man”. I am 37 and this is the worst haircut I have ever had. I asked for the same thing I always get (2 on the side/finger length layers on top) which every other stylist there can do. He told me “finger length is uneven” and that he could “use a 6 guard on clippers and it would look better”. I naively agreed. It looks terrible. Came in for a haircut and the guy that cut my hair didn’t follow directions. I explained to him that I have fine thin hair and told him exactly how I wanted my haircut. He only cut an inch off the ends and never gave me the inverted bob haircut that I asked for and had the nerve to charge me 20.00. I sat and waited for my sister to get her haircut. Great stylist! Very personable. I have been a loyal customer for many years.
The other day I came in after work to get a trim since my ends were splitting. I got a stylist named Mellisa (red hair) and she was outstanding. She could see were a previous stylist had “tried” to give me layers, which I didn’t want, and cut my hair so nicely. My hair is very even now. She was so pleasant to talk to. I really enjoyed her and will be requesting her next time I go!
