I took my daughter and she got her hair cut in a much shorter style than she had, but her and I both told the stylist to keep the longest layer chin length in front and she was trying to get us to agree to even shorter. We thought she understood (I'm sure she did) but she cut it to the length she wanted which was much shorter than my daughter wanted. She asked her if she liked it. What was she supposed to say, NO, you ruined my hair, thanks for not listening to me.
