I've been coming to Great Clips ever since I moved to Clearwater a couple of years ago, and I've always had a great experience. The staff is friendly, professional, and consistently does an excellent job. A special shoutout to Tony, who has been cutting my hair for a while now. Every visit feels like catching up with a friend—we always end up talking about music, sharing recommendations, and geeking out over bands and songs. Nice and friendly! Got a simple haircut.
I asked for a quarter-inch trim - a dusting - a because I’m growing out my length and layers. I specifically requested blunt ends, a subtle U-shape, long front layers, and a light touch-up to my curtain bangs. Instead, she cut off at least 1.5 inches from the length and up to 4 for my layers, added short layers from my chin down, removed my curtain bangs, and left me with a square shape instead of the u shape and blunt look I repeatedly asked for. Very easy to make online apps and nice stylist here. I even left my wallet and they held on to it over the weekend so I could retrieve it. It's difficult getting older.
The cut was so bad my wife made fun of me for 2 miles with pics and videos of the whole thing. There was patches and un even cuts. My neck line was in the shape of a frown. The only good thing was I found a spanish barber shop (El Bomche Barber Lounge LLC on Drew St.) that did me up good. I usually cut my own or go to my in-law that worked at a great clips but I didnt have time before we left for vacation to here in clearwater.
