My mom went in there with really long hair. Whe wanted it cut to her chest, not her shoulders, so basically just a trim. The lady cut it not only to her shoulders, but above and didnt even blend it out. I can't believe they ignore her and do whatever they feel, and instead of cutting off a tiny bit and asking if that's enough, she cut the example piece way too short so they had to even it out at that point... please learn how to cut hair.
