On three separate occasions I had a great cut (more bad cuts than good over the years, however), only to return each time to find that none of the stylists I liked were there anymore. It's frustrating to find someone who listens to your preferences and then leaves. The staff turnover at this location is high, so don't expect any consistently. I had a haircut every 8 weeks, so no one seems to stay long.

My boys 10 and 7 went first thing this morning. Tasha and McKenna cut their hair and they loved it! Both boys wanted to give them five star reviews so here I am letting you all know they were excellent, efficient and listened to what they wanted. Thank you Tasha & McKenna!

The amount of times I've received a negative farewell after paying my bill is mind boggling. I get charged a $19.00 haircut and leave a $3 dollar tip and I get treated like scum. Numerous times over the past few years. That's over 15% in case you don't know! It's not my problem that I don't get you to $30 an hour after your two haircuts that you typically do in that span. I assure you, you aren't worth that money. Not even $25. So get the hell over yourself and stop depending on your clients to pay your suitable wage. All yo... read more

I had my hair cut at Great Clips in Washington Illinois on freedom parkway. The employees began fighting with customers, and then The guy cutting my hair came back to the station and just began shaving my head. I paid and left as to not in-site another conflict. I've been a customer for several years and typically look forward to going because of friendly staff and short waiting time. Today, was a different experience. I arrived with three ahead of me on the online check in. Two stylists (never seen them before) were available and I was the only one waiting to have a haircut. I sat there for five minutes and watched one worker standing around and the other was meandering about in the back of the salon. I kept waiting. Julie is incredible. I’ve seen her multiple times now, and every single time I walk out loving my hair. After a nightmare experience at another salon left my hair a mess, Julie completely turned it around. She’s not just skilled — she’s a miracle worker. I won’t let anyone else touch my hair. Huge thanks to Great Clips for having someone as talented and experienced as Julie!

I recently moved to the area, so this was my first time at this location. Shahina did a wonderful job on my hair. I love the cut. So many times stylists will pull and tug on your hair, not Shahina, she was so gentle I nearly dozed off. She was friendly, not rushed, and cut my hair exactly as I asked. I'll be back to see Shahina for my haircuts along with my grandkids.

The beautician here are absolutely wonderful!!!! Always friendly and give great haircuts. I always leave here with a smile on my face. Glad to have them so close to home.
