The other week, I went to great clips to get my hair trimmed. I have very thick and curly hair and I like it that way. When I went in, I showed the stylist a photo of how my hair usually is. Puffy, thick, and curly on the top. I asked her to take about an inch off the top and for a fade to clean it up. The stylist cut, at a minimum, 3-4+ inches off, chopped my curls off, and left me with maybe 2 inches on the top, which is completely flat hair. Curls are gone. Nice girl who cut my hair. She listened to my concerns about not layering my hair in back because I have a awful wave in the back of my hair and it shows up if my hair is too short n in back I was happy with my hair cut and I think it looks nice. Would like to see the hair prices go down a little.
The music is sooo loud!!!
I will first state that the hair cut was fine, as was the staff that I spoke to, but overall a very aggravating experience. I signed in online and was told when to head in with about a 15 minute wait. It ended up being over a half hour. During this half hour I watched 3 of the staff finish with a customer, clean up their station, then disappear in the back room for at least 10 minutes.
