I’ve been a loyal customer of this salon for quite a while, and I’ve always had a great experience, especially with my stylist. Every time I go, I leave feeling like I’ve gotten the best service and haircut. Wow, what I witnessed today made me never want to step foot inside this establishment again. To think a mother cannot advocate for her boys to get a simple “line up” “edge up” during a haircut which is routine for any paying customer to do….without having a disturbing and racist moment created by the stylist “Ginger”! ⸻ I was at this location while my two sons were getting their hair cut. Ginger, the stylist cutting my youngest son’s hair, seemed to forget to clean up the front. I politely asked if she could line him up. She responded, “That’s more of a barber style — an ethnic type of haircut.” I asked her what she meant by “ethnic style haircut,” but she repeated that it was a barber style.
