I visited the Great Clips in Alliance, OH (Buckeye Plaza) around noon on August 14 with my children, and unfortunately, we will not be returning. The overall atmosphere was extremely unwelcoming—every stylist we saw rolled their eyes at customers who weren’t male. My 10-year-old daughter politely explained what she wanted (a lot of layers and curtain bangs), but the stylist treated her request as though it was strange and made her feel very uncomfortable. Nastiest manager I have ever met. Had one of the women cutting hair in tears yelling at her while she was cutting a little kids hair. This manager doesn’t deserve to I have a job. I then was yelled at personally by the manager while I was buying product because I told her that was terrible how she spoke to her employee.
I come in for a shampoo sometimes because I’m not a fan of washing my hair and they always exceed my expectations.
