Our first season with sports and the y was such a sucess that turned for the worse by the 2nd season. My son was looking for a more competitve fullfillment, after 1 season with the y he tried the rec soccer plus tryouts. He was so excited to make the team and cost was not a factor to fulfill his passion. Best YMCA in town
I've been to the Great Bridge YMCA many times over the course of the last 3 years, but this time one of the staff members was unbearable. I went with some of my friends to go workout in the gym. We all have YMCA memberships and workout relatively often, like twice a week. This blonde trainer starts complaining that we are taking too long in an area. Pretty smooth process.
1st time back after 10 years. Machines were good and available. Mens locker room was musty, lockers were rusty, sauna was inoperative, pool was closed and there was mold in the grout for the men's showers. I remember this being a very good facility that was busy at 0700 but today it was almost empty.
