Great American Restaurants was born from a partnership that started, when Randy Norton and Jim Farley opened a 16 table pizza place in Fairfax City, VA. Mike Ranney joined them a year later, and with the opening of Fantastic Fritzbe s Flying Food Factory in 1976, the company was born. EXCELLENT! The chain of restaurants is absolutely AMAZING! You really can't miss by going to any of them. My personal favorite is Coastal Flats, but I've had fabulous dinners at Sweetwater, Mike's, and many others!
