My wife and I established Great American Homes in 1990, and began building panelized homes in the spring of 1991 in the Menomonie and Dunn County area. We built 6 homes our first year, which was our goal. Since our first year, Great American Homes has grown to become the leading home builder in the entire Chippewa Valley area, building an average of over 25 homes per year. My Smokin Brothers grill I purchased from them started tripping my GFCI. After contacting the manufacturer about the possible cause they reached out to American fireplace to expedite my repair. The technician came to my home on saturday and had it up and smoking in no time. Great customer service is hard to find today but not here. Thanks again.

This company has been outstanding to work with. My first stove I actually bought from Menards because I had rebates to use after a shop build, but Great American did the install and did a fast turn around powder coating the exterior chimney pipe when I requested it last minute. For my second stove, I made a mistake I still kick myself for. I bought it and the install from a different local stove retailer because I thought I was getting a deal. Meant to do this when we had our wood stove installed two years ago, but got busy. Great American Fireplace installed our wood stove and chimney, and came back to extend the chimney. They did a really good job. Very professional, and extremely friendly. People in the office are great, too. I would highly recommend them!
