My wife and I established Great American Homes in 1990, and began building panelized homes in the spring of 1991 in the Menomonie and Dunn County area. We built 6 homes our first year, which was our goal. Since our first year, Great American Homes has grown to become the leading home builder in the entire Chippewa Valley area, building an average of over 25 homes per year. Excellent customer service - very friendly and helpful. My propane fireplace/stove went out this winter. They patiently answered my many questions in the store, helped me troubleshoot, and directed me to the right parts. If you need anything related to fireplaces or franklin stoves - this is the place.
What a great company to work with! We got a gas fireplace to install in our basement and are so glad we made the jaunt to Menomonie. After comparing with 2 different stores from the Twin Cities, we found they had better products at much better prices. They took the time to educate us on the different offerings and didn't pressure us at all in our decision-making. The customer service of this family-owned business is some of the best we've ever had. Can't recommend highly enough. Use them for your next project!
My Smokin Brothers grill I purchased from them started tripping my GFCI. After contacting the manufacturer about the possible cause they reached out to American fireplace to expedite my repair. The technician came to my home on saturday and had it up and smoking in no time. Great customer service is hard to find today but not here. Thanks again.
