Great rehab centre and facilities. Overall staff is great, especially the physios and OTs. Some of the nurses are good but not all. There are always patient falls and injuries. Especially one nurse Linda, she is horrible. Does not take care of patients. Always see her chatting to others, if you call her for help she won't come quickly and if she does she does the bare minimum and tries to run away before even confirming if the task was done properly. My name is Adam Pearce and I am an amputee (above knee) and I have stayed at this wonderful facility for almost 6 months. Everyone at this facility is absolutely wonderful from the day and night nurses, doctors, especially Sandra (wound specialist), OT's (Erin, Natalie etc), Social Worker (Jelena), Psychologists (Joanne & Bernadette), Physiotherapists (Sharon, Sara, Rachel, Alistair and others etc), Case Manager, Cleaners (they have kept our room and bathroom very clean), Food Service delivery staff (Premi) etc. I don't know... read more
been visiting Graythwaite Rehabilitation Centre for the past three months, accompanying my elderly father-in-law to visit his son, who has been recovering from a double stroke. During this time, I’ve had wonderful experiences with the staff—every nurse we’ve encountered has been kind, compassionate, and professional. I am the carer for someone who was discharged from Graythwaite in the last few days, after a stay of approximately 9 weeks. Unlike some other reviews we were very happy with the quality of care at all levels. From the doctors, to physio & OT, the excellent nurses and conscientious cleaners we were very happy with all staff. The medical care from the doctors exceeded my expectations and the nurses were wonderful. The building is bright, clean & modern.
