I have had an excellent clinical experience with Dr. Grayson, and have been seeing him for decades. He has done four going on five procedures, and I am very comfortable with him for such important matters. The overall experience at Omni, while improving, could be better. But that is a separate review.
I had Cataract surgery 15 years ago with Dr. Grayson. What do you want more if you are 82 years old and your vision is now 20/20. Here is the reason: I was using 2 pairs of glasses; for reading and long distance. Dr. Grayson gave me the options: put in Standard Lenses (off the shelf that fit everybody, later you go for eye glasses prescription as normal, lenses covered by insurance), or put in Multi-Focal Lenses (tailored specifically for your scull and eye cavity, insurance does NOT cover at all, elective surgery). The absolute worst! I was scheduled for cataract surgery with Dr. Grayson. Arrived for surgery, prepped, numerous eye drops put in, IV put in, hooked up for vitals. All ready to go into surgery and he cancelled (why didn't he cancel the hour prior to all of this). Wasted a PTO day, eyes dilated for hours. Rescheduled for 2 weeks. The day before what was supposed to be my second surgery, but was now my first surgery, received call to be at surgical center by 6:30 a.m. next day. Several hours later, call to cancel again!
