I've participated in a grounding retreat and enneagram workshop through Gravity, and I loved not only Chris and Phileena's complementary styles, but also the larger community they invite you into. Gravity is good people!
Chris & Phileena are 2 perfect souls who understand the real meaning of life and that is to share and care for other human beings. They have simply dedicate their lives for this cause and since the day I know them (which is more than 20 years now) they have been doing that so sincerely and dedicatedly. Chris and Phileena are incredible people. Their love and care for others is shown through all that they do in Gravity. They have created a space where everyone feels welcomed and wanted. I've known Chris and Phileena since 1999. I have seen them full of energy and I have seen them tired and sick. It has been through their view on what it means to retreat, renew, and go back that I learned how my vocation should look like in terms of activities. This retreat has challenged me to rest – to rest in the presence of God, in security, and in receiving the Divine love that I so often ignore. I needed this to fuel me for the work ahead. I highly recommend Gravity's work and feel that their retreats are so necessary for all—whether you're a leader, professional, or student. Their retreats provide a burst of life for all vocations—a necessity.
I’ve done this retreat twice and I don’t know if I would still be working in the capacity I am without these times which allow for stillness and recharging.
