As a business owner my entire adult life I don’t do this lightly. I have never in my life complained about a business on a large platform. On 4/30/19 I dropped my Gravely mower off to Gravely of Hockessin. This is a mower with a MSRP of 12k that I purchased in 2016 from them just under 3 years ago. It carried a 3 year warranty. I dropped it off for an oil leak. 2 days after dropping it off John called and said “It has an oil leak. I’m not sure if it will be covered or not”. Called to ask about blade sharpening and what the turn around time would be. They could not tell me even a round about timeframe and I jokingly said I don't want to be without my blades for 3 weeks or anything like that. A guy jumps in on the line, cuts off the lady talking and tells me how "he does not think I am funny" with a real crappy attitude and says he will call when they are done. You won't be calling me at all since I won't ever be walking into your store.
DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES DEAL WITH HOCKESSIN GRAVELY.....their business model is to take advantage of customers who have no choice but to accept their advice when their tractor won't start and their grass is getting too long. They will absolutely gouge you on service. I have less than 300 hours on my 36" walk-behind and have spent more on service than I did for the machine....nice racket if you can get away with it!
Nice selection Nice selection of high end mowers and other landscaping equipment. My husband and I purchased a zero turn mower last year and were very satisfied. The store delivered the mower and I was instructed fully on how to use it.
