We opened in 2002 with our first caboose and now we have 3 cabooses and the depot. We got the first caboose from the railroad historical society in Greensboro when they got rid of their rolling stock.The second come from a ladies garden club in Goldston and the third we got in Crewe. A nice getaway. – My wife and I have been up there 4-5 times over the past few years and are going back this week-end as well.It is very peacefull and the scenery is top notch.The owners are very friendly and actually have little bags of things you may forget but need like corkscrews and wine glasses.I would though strongly recommend making a list of items you may want w/ your steak if you choose to grill out at the cabooses because if you forget the steak sauce it is a loooong way to the nearest store but then that is proba... read more
