This is an awesome organization!! Read about them in a Patagonia magazine and was blown away!!
Genuine lovers of nature! Dynamic group of diverse people who are happy to get their hands dirty restoring habitat.
So so grateful for this organization.
The faculty, staff and volunteers at Acterra are truly wonderful people. I was part of the team as an Acterra Stewardship Habitat Restoration Intern for two summers where I gained valuable hands-on experience in the field. This non-profit organization is based in Palo Alto, but their services extend throughout the whole Bay Area. Looking forward to another volunteer day :)
