I lived there for 5 months and the director kept threatening to kick us out and saying that we'd been living there for too long. Most people were racist towards us for being Hispanic; very few people supported us. It's a disgusting place; they don't treat people well unless they're of the same race. At lunchtime, we were always served reluctantly. I hope they replace all the staff And they also share the best of the donations because I saw it. They raffle it off among themselves too.
Just hearing a stranger say that they care about me as a human, especially in a moment of weakness was truly helpful. Thank you whoever you are. You have no idea what that meant to me
