I am disappointed with the level of service provided by Grassroots. As a member of the community who has sought assistance from their organization, I have found the resources and support to be severely lacking and outdated. It is evident that the resources utilized are not up to par with current standards. Whether it be outdated information, obsolete methodologies, or simply a lack of innovation, it is clear that Grassroots is not keeping pace with the evolving needs of the community. I lived there for 5 months and the director kept threatening to kick us out and saying that we'd been living there for too long. Most people were racist towards us for being Hispanic; very few people supported us. It's a disgusting place; they don't treat people well unless they're of the same race. At lunchtime, we were always served reluctantly. I hope they replace all the staff And they also share the best of the donations because I saw it. They raffle it off among themselves too.
