Chain italian restaurants can't compete w/ Grassos Lived in El Centro for years, and have been a loyal, steady customer of Grassos since my childhood. Tried the new Carinos italian at the mall to my disappointment. Can't beat Grassos for a great homemade huge meal. You must have the garlic bread and salad. The Best ever!
Local favorite, the BEST OMG, one of the best in the area! Everything is homemade. I love the tasty pizza made with a great medium thickness crust and whole tomato bits. My husband raves over the veal or chicken parmeciana. The garlic bread is not your average toast, the best I have ever had. But you will be full after the salad and bread. Tasty Not a bad Italian restaurant considering Mexican food is the specialty of this area. When you live in this part of the country one thing that is hard to find is a decent carbonara or noche. I like the food in this place they use a generous helping of galic in almost everything they cook. The portions are decent as well as the prices. The menu selection offers all kinds of Italian dishes that are sure to make even the pcikiest eater happy.
Grasso's Italian Restaurant Standard Italian fare and good prices. The menu is pretty standard Italian food ranging from Pasta to Anti-Pasta. The chicken Marsala is pretty good but could be a little more spicey. The portions are decent and the staff is nice.
