Really cool swimming spot. Awesome rocks to jump from and the water is super clear. Would have given it 5 stars but it does get pretty packed later in the day. Also, some older teens/early 20's, guys, came down with a subwoofer speaker and they were blasting it. 99% of people don't want to hear blaring club music when they're trying to relax by the river. Music at a reasonable volume is one thing, but it was extremely excessive. FYI as of 6/27/26, it is temporarily closed, due to the fires up in the canyon.
Great swimming area with lots of shade. 5 min walk from the parking lot to the water, you have to walk on boulders and rocks. Might be difficult for someone elderly or with mobility issues. The water was very cold but we had such a great time jumping off the small cliffs into the water. When we left at 10:15am on a Friday, the parking lot was already full. $15 to get in, cash or card accepted. We brought a blanket to sit on but other people had chairs. Will definitely visit again!
