The map has a photo icon and says to hike to the left. After reaching some rock faces we decided to turn back because it sounded like we were getting further from the water. We turned around and went back to the sign which read Creek Access. The water level was a bit low and it had some ash in the water which gave it a slight grey color. While it wasn't crystal clear it was still beautiful.

A bit of a rocky of a walk in places but so much beauty and so much to explore! Also there's some fun cliff jumping!
☆☆ 3/5 Not really a family-friendly picnic spot, especially with young kids. Although Grasshopper Point is often described as a picnic spot, I would recommend being cautious if you’re visiting with children. The area has a lot of rocks and large boulders, making it difficult and uncomfortable to walk around. The climb back up can be particularly challenging.
