Jazz and wine train was fun and the food was good. They kept your glass refilled.
The train interior could do with a good cleaning, I don't see vintage as being synonymous with dirty. We sat in the last car in first class so I can only speak to that. It was a gorgeous spring day outside but the temperature inside this car was like a 40 degree winter day. I asked the young man to turn the air conditioning down and he did for what felt like 5 minutes and then it was freezing cold again. Spring Wine Train disappointment. I want to let those who may contemplate riding the Wine Train next Spring, about our experience. I bought tickets for us and dear friends, thinking this would be fun. This would be the first time for us four. Train, food, friendship, fun…what could go wrong? It starts with parking.
