Always great food!!
Today May 2, 2026 walked in. Not busy because of festival downtown but still you would think they would be happy someone walked in. Waited, young female ( kitchen window)finally looked my way and said someone will be with you ( me ) in a few minutes. Well low and behold an older female walked out from behind the kitchen as if she was busy. Busy talking to kitchen staff. Food was phenomenal! My kiddos loved the tacos and pulled pork sammich and we loved the 1 & 2 meat plates. Banana pudding was an extra special treat at the end.
I dont know what happened today but the flavor of the brisket..lean and moist was way below what I am used to here. Last time I came it was the best and very flavorful...excellent. This time the lean...lack of smoke flavor and looked like it had barely been smoked. Almost looked like wasn't smoked at all...dry. Almost pink/white in color. Moist was very full of gristle and fat...disappointed for sure. Service was great. Sides and tea always good.
