I called this facility to look for an internship possibility. I was rudely told no and the operator hung up in my face. I attempted to call back and the operator then rejected the call and hung up again. Very unprofessional and extremely rude. I hope upper management sees this and addresses this as I would never do this to anyone. I hope this operator is not answering phones for people who are actually calling to seek help as this would deter anyone from wanting to seek help from this location.
Got myself off some serious hard drug use and all thanks to CPMD! Caring and compassionate is an understatement and their level of addiction treatment techniques is second to none. I owe my life to these people and i am forever grateful. 16 months clean and sober now.
In my personal experience City Point Medical Detox Clinic is a great place to go for addiction recovery. They help each and every person depending on their needs and do as much as they can to ensure a safe recovery. They will do as much as they can to help you overcome your substance abuse challenges. This place was not a "flop house" as some rehabilitation centers out there are. They have daily groups throughout the week and outside NA meetings 6 nights a week. Words can’t describe the respect and gratitude I have for the wonderful staff at City Point Medical Detox Clinic. As a Parent of an addict, I was encouraged to partake in the family substance abuse counseling offered at the addiction treatment center. I couldn’t be more impressed with the deep level of care, understanding and flexibility in the way they adjust the treatment for each individual client. It was a horrible time there, So many staff head's turned the other way. Most staff worked only for the pay check. Not all, 2 or 3 people were really good and truly caring . Never once did I sit with my overall staff and discuss my issues, like they would preach to us every week . I could tell you so many disturbing details about this nightmare of a place. Half of a quarter of a star. !!!! If they deni it it's a lie. !!
