Conveniently located off of the highway. Beautiful views nearby. A short drive to downtown Galena. Outdoor pool. Other guests were friendly. Pet-friendly! Easy to get a hold of staff on the phone. Staff were friendly and accommodating, in-person. Had a small issue with the television, and an employee came over quickly, to fix it. The main office opened early and stayed open late, which was convenient.
I've been coming here regularly for work for the past year. Last year, the property came under new ownership. The new owner has done a lot of renovations and has updated the rooms and features. I really like what they've done to the property, and I know they have even more updates coming in the near future. The staff and property managers are very polite and respectful. This motel, with all of its updates and improvements, is a hidden gem in Galena.
The manager was very friendly and prices reasonable especially in a snow storm late at night. Room was clean ,quiet,and warm and walk way and driveway salted and plowed. Oh and very pet friendly !
My husband and I went to Galena on our honeymoon in October and we were on a budget. This place is a four minute drive from Galena's Main street. The hotel is no frills but the rooms were clean and smelled nice and the area is nice and quiet. It served it's purpose for our trip. It's a motel so you aren't going to get ammenites like a hotel but if you want a quaint, clean room for a good price in a area where you can see the beautiful hillscape I recommend this place especially If you want to get away on a budget 😊
