Great location and service; pool was closed most of the day and rooms had a weird funk but for the price I couldn't complain
Pretty cool motel, well taken care of and super clean. It's next door to the distillery, so you can walk there. The mattresses were pretty worn out though and probably should be replaced.
Hi all, this is a 6/2025 review from Grant Hills Motel in Galena IL. Our recent stay here was disappointing. We have stayed in this hotel for several years, not only as vacations, but as a place for hunting season as well. Upon arriving for this current stay, we immediately noticed the lack of maintenance, broken sidewalks, faded exterior paint.
