Dr G replaced my rt shoulder. I did all that he told me to do for recovery. I have full use of my shoulder and I could not be happier. He took great care of me. He was honest and concerned. I recommend him to anyone who has shoulder issues.
I found Dr G who is a specialist in shoulder repair at Rush Chicago. I had my humerous in my left arm removed in 2013 due to an infection. I needed to remove it and replace but wanted the daily pain and lack of movement improved. Dr G took the time to consult and advise me of the procedure and the potential results I could expect after having surgery. He was very informative and answered all of my questions. Had a partially torn bicep repaired. Dr. didn't seem to care much once surgery was done. I was in excruciating pain for more than a year afterwards..."you must have done something wrong". Seemed to blame me for not going to physical therapy, which I did but couldn't raise my arm more than a few inches so not much therapy could be done. My shoulder was locked. The doctor and his staff treated me with complete disregard of my feelings. After receiving my medical record from their office, I found numerous medication, allergy, and surgery errors. I was surprised and astounded by the amount of errors considering I had given them a detailed list. The doctor was rude to me and stated that my shoulder pain, which had been fractured in 3 spots and dislocated, was MS pain and not real. Therefore he refused to operate.
