We had our wedding here, and the service the weekend of was spectacular. Sonja, Carlos and Julio deserve a special shoutout. We had a last-minute change of plans and needed to move our outdoor welcome party and reception in doors, and they did everything to make sure we were prepared and happy. Thak you so much!
My favorite resort in Tahoe! Step back in time and enjoy this historic destination, complete with fantastic amenities and endless recreation opportunities. The property has so much charm, from the peaceful, forested setting to the wonderful year-round heated pool, hot tub, and complimentary buffet breakfast. It is the perfect base camp for a Tahoe getaway.

LONG REVIEW SO SORRY TL:DR Terrible service during power loss, do not recommend. The hotel is undeniably beautiful, the room I stayed in was wonderful, and the complimentary breakfast was delicious and convenient. However, the poor handling of a power outage really outweighed all of that for me. Let me be clear - I do not blame Granlibakken for losing power, things happen and they clearly can't control fires that take out power lines. But!
