We bought a lovely piece of quartzite from Granite Depot. Unfortunately, the prep and installation process was anything but professional. People showed up without notice, and people scheduled to show up, didn't. The installers finally showed up at 4:00 PM on a Friday, and clearly were more concerned with getting finished than doing the job correctly. Granite Depot did an amazing job on our kitchen countertops. When asked about using our original sink, Danny explained that for granite we had to have an under the counter sink. Research confirmed this. They had discontinued sinks and offered us one of those for free (the sink is perfect!). Danny advised us to remove the old Formica tops and cut around the sink so they could laser measure. After measuring put the old countertops back until the granite arrived.
