Great place for a stroll in the fall.
This small park was the biggest surprise of our return trip. If you’re heading back from Acadia National Park to Portland or Boston and the timing works out, it’s truly worth stopping here. We arrived about 20 minutes before sunrise—the river was calm like a mirror, reflecting the vibrant fall foliage made even richer by the rising sun. Great little waterfront park! Very welcoming. Parking here is free but limited to 24hrs. We had the best time sitting by the water and taking in the views.
