Great experience with Granite City! The price beat other places. Everything went right on schedule. Install took only two hours and no seams!! Professional service the whole time. Will only use Granite City!

I wanted to thank Curtis, the manager at Granite City restaurant in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. He went out of his way to make sure an E-card I purchased online was activated for my Daughter's birthday. He was very patient and super nice. I wish other restaurants offered that kind of management.

Selection of granite was easy, but the number of different slabs was not as large as other suppliers. Still they had exactly what we were looking for at a price $5 a sq ft less than another supplier. Staff were patient and knowledgeable. Ask for Mitchell when you visit. He’s honest and helpful in explaining different stones.

When it comes to choosing the color of granite for your countertops, you have plenty of hues and variations to choose from. However, blue and red are considered more rare or exotic when it comes to granite and thus are going to be more costly.

If you want your granite countertops to receive a honed finish, they will have a satin-smooth surface. This type of granite does not reflect too much light, but will look great in any home.

Typically, granite countertops are polished to a honed or high-gloss finish. Honed granite is similar to polished in that it is highly durable but without that distinctive reflective shine. Rather, honed finishes offer a satiny, more natural look.
