Great deserts and cake squares! – I've never been disappointed with any of my custom orders or just dropping by for a spontaneous treat. Delicious treats and friendly service, one of my favorite gems in SLC. Make sure to buy a few bags of cake squares.
Worst customer service – We ordered a white macadamia cake with chocolate filling for my sons 5th birthday. We got chocolate cake with cherry filling. We had already cut into the cake, which is how we found out it was wrong, and began serving our guests. My husband called the bakery and told them it was the wrong cake. He was asked to bring it back. Excellent Customer Service and Cake!! – Granite Bakery was the only bakery in SLC that would take my special order for a Chocolate Rum cake with raspberry filling and marzipan shell. I called more than 6 other bakeries and either they didn't call back or said they couldn't do it. Not Granite! They not only said they could do it, they offered to have it ready by 7am the next day, less than 24 hours after I placed the order!!! Worst cake decorating in town. – Cheap on amout of icing used, poor decorating ideas! Won't shop there again! Costco, Sam's and Albertson's do a better job for a better price.
Great Customer Service and Delicious Cakes – I used Granite Bakery for my wedding cake. I bought a three tiered cake with buttercream frosting. My guests ate the whole thing except the top, (the whole tradition thing). I have been to a lot of weddings and seen a lot of wasted cake but that was not the case with me. Everyone loved it. They delivered the cake and everything. It was great. I had a wonderful experience and couldn't find a better price for what I wanted. I would highly recommend this baker for wedding cakes.
Delivery is not free – It says here that delivery is free but, it is not. It is still a great price starting at $30.00 for delivery. They come at the time they say they will with great people delivering and selling their cakes. Friendly and great customer serivce
