Main problem here was nurses making sexual comments about me and a psychiatrist making cruel comments about my mother not long after she died. The psychiatrist decides whose alright and whose not alright - the arrogance of it - the fact of the matter is the psychiatrists aren't alright. Also I had my cash card stolen. The nurses revere the psychiatrists, the psychiatrist has no knowledge I couldn't easily look up in a book or the Internet.
While battling with depression I became an inpatient at this unit after a suicide attempt, despite only being at the unit for 12hrs, Dr Noel Crockett discharged me to go home and make another attempt. Within hours of being out I overdosed and was taken to A&E, I was then detained under the Mental Health Order by another psychiatrist, then was discharged again by Dr Crockett with no follow up in the community or support.
