We just stayed at the Tiki Hut cottage in March 2020 for a glorious week. Now if you are the Marriott crowd then this may not be your thing but we loved the old school vibe, friendly people and staff and the most beautiful beach in the USA only 100 steps to the sand. It didn't hurt that the week was sunny and 80 every day. The kitchen has everything you will need. The bedroom has a comfy king bed with ceiling fan. The cottage was lovely and very clean. The staff was very courteous and friendly. The best part of the cottage was the location. The beach was very close, just a minute walk. We didn’t use our car a lot. We mostly walked. There were tons of shops, bars, and restaurants within walking distance. We brought our dog and there is a park very close to walk our dog. There was also a dog beach down the road within 5 minutes where we brought our dog swimming in the Gulf. Thanks Capt. Al!
+ My girlfriend and i visit Clearwater beach about once a month since we live close by in Orlando. We always stay at one of Captain Al's cottages. Definitly the coolest and most fun places to stay. The Tiki hut cottage is the real VIP of the units. Has its own dedicated hot tub and front court yard villa sort of thing with a tiki overhead and BBQ. I wouldn’t know because I never got to stay here do to being double booked here and asked to move which I agreed to once then after second time I just cancelled poor customer service at its finest.
