Been training at this gym for 4+ years and I appreciate the recent improvements that have been made to it. Mike, the new manager, takes good care of it too. Also, the guy in the previous review is wrong, the facility is secured during unstaffed hours. I will die with a GPF membership (I hope)
PROS: you can literally workout here for free. Back doors are open, front door is usually open too and there is rarely staff there to enforce the rules. CONS: you can literally workout here for free since the doors are open and nobody to enforce the rules, and when there is staff they really don’t do anything anyway. If you like working out next to a bunch of shirtless dudes with dad bods then you will love this gym.
I love the gym and the atmosphere. But they’re about 100 years stuck in the past, considering it was around that time that air conditioning was invented. Yeah yeah I get that having the garage doors open on a 100 degree 90% humidity day and lifting some heavy weights is hardcore bro! But you know what is not hardcore? Passing out from heat stroke. I’m sure I’m not the only one who literally cannot exercise to my fullest capacity in this humidity and heat with no A/C. I’ll keep coming here, cause I do love the vibes. But I ca... read more
They just installed a metal fence at the back. We need to get some air in between sets, now it’s just a heat box prison without AC for real
