The proprietors and managers, Phil Bourne and Ilaeka Villa are a father and daughter team who live nearby just a short walk though the pasture. Papa Phil as he is known to guests is a retired IBM executive who now concentrates on whipping up delicious food for the catering services available to our guests. llaeka his daughter returned from living abroad in Paris a few years back to help with her mother during her terminal illness.

We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Grandview Mountain Cottages. The views were spectacular! So peaceful. Our dogs loved being able to run around in the pasture. The Cowgirl Cottage had everything you could ask for and more. The local organic coffee in our gift basket was so delicious! Our family started going to Grandview Mountain Cottages when our oldest son was a baby and now, four years later, he loves it more than ever! The hiking options both onsite and within a short drive are perfect for our family and dog. Papa Phil's cooking is always a highlight. We've stayed at both Pinecone and Honeysuckle multiple times and love them both. My wife and I are always looking forward to our next trip to Grandview, and now our boys want to know when we're going back, too!
Absolutely charming, peaceful, romantic, outdoorsy and adventurous, clean..clean clean! So cozy, cute, comfy! The bed was the best ever with wonderful pillows and the softest sheets and cozy comforter! The mastersuite was perfect. The house was so well stocked clothes and food was all needed! Just down the hill the owners have a porch kitchen where you can purchase Papa Phil's homemade jams, peppers, and tomatoes as well as seasonal veggies, fresh eggs, churned butter and even fresh jars of honey and home-made soaps.
