Phoebe did amazing and thoughtful maintenance work on my 2007 Subaru outback. She took the time to walk me through all of her assessments of what was needed to keep my vehicle going strong and took a proactive and realistic approach with my overall interest in mind. Impressive and quick work for a very fair price. I will be coming here again.
She did the power steering pump on my car. I went here because the price was the most competitive of the 5 shops who quoted me in the area. I think I might’ve accidentally been underquoted, because replacing the pump on this model is extremely tough. Despite it being way more work than she anticipated, she took the time to do it right, honored the original price, and was super nice throughout the whole process. I have been taking my cars to Grandmas Garage for several years now. Phoebe has always been kind and thorough. She explains what needs to be done versus what can be saved for later, and any upcoming services to budget for. This is my first time feeling totally safe and at ease with a mechanic. Plus, there is a great cafe just a few feet away!
Grandma's really helped me out in a pinch! My splash guard fell off and then a bunch of the rest of the front end of my car started falling off too. I was only in town for a couple of days on my way from LA to Portland. I didn't have time to order parts. She referred me to a nearby salvage yard so I could get the parts immediately if available. She gave me a great DIY workaround for how to cheaply and easily do a temporary fix that would get me through the rest of my trip if they didn't have what I needed. She helped me zip ... read more
