I was there awhile back, wasn't greeted. The winery next door had a sign up, that was facing into grandma tommies, what do they do...they act like little childish people and cover up the sign. If they were smart, they would team up with that winery.

The ONLY thing I don't absolutely LOVE at Grandma Tommy's is having to narrow down my selections JUST so they'll fit in my car. What doesn't fit may need to be ordered & shipped 'cuz I want it all! (Don't say I didn't warn you to leave room) I try to keep some extra Grandma Tommy delights on hand in pantry for unique impromptu hostess gifts, thank you gifts, etc.... but darn if they don't seem to disappear from the shelf before gifting. We stopped in yesterday and browsed the vast selection of cherry products, but at no time were we greeted or asked if we needed any help in the gift shop. The experience was a little different in the wine stor where they were friendly and very helpful.
We stopped in twice during our stay at Potawatomi St Pk. 1st was to pick up smoked salmon, also got pieces of pie. Young woman employee was very unfriendly. Wife went in 2nd stop, Same employee, same result. There were no pieces available and she acted like she didn't want to be bothered. Pie was very good, fish was OK.
The sign outside said open til 6pm We got there at 5:06pm. They saw me walking up the way and locked the door anyway. I was very disappointed seeing as we left the Park early to get there in time. I had planned to buy wine and souvenirs. I had to take my business else where.

So sorry this happened to you!! Grandma Tommy's hours are 9-5! The store(Door 44 Winery) next to us has different hours then us. They are 10-6!
We stop before we head home on every trip for the pies and fudge!!!
