I came to visit a relative at Grande oaks facility. Upon entering the strong smell of urine and feces in the air was overwhelming. While there, I've talked to other residents who escorted me to their rooms to show me the disarray of clothes, all over the floor and broken furniture, dressers, and drawers, piled in corners of the residential rooms. This facility currently hasn't had water in 4 weeks, if u have a love one her check on them! The state needs to be called on the facility
I know patients personally who have been here and have been neglected left foot bed sores, infections etc with no wound care…VERY NEGLECTFUL!! Do NOT GO TO THIS FACILITY!
It's a girl there that talks about hiw vad they are doing her. It's horrible. I will report this to the state
Unfortunately our elderly are left in these types of facilities and forgotten and behind closed doors you can only imagine. My experience was witnessing several staff who have been very unprofessional. Thank you Lord for allowing me to visit often, this has allowed me to see what patients experience and I'm not happy!! It's time to fight for those individuals who can't fight for themselves and I ask you to please visit nursing homes and don't assume that they're doing the right thing and leave your love ones in there without... read more
