We booked a home in Wimberley, TX through airbnb for our girls' trip from July 18-24, 2026. Unfortunately, due to the flooding in the surrounding hill country cities, it made our drive from north TX down south to Wimberley potentially dangerous. I booked a property through vrbo (owner- Texas Hill Country Host) in February for a special occasion and had an extremely disappointing experience. Two weeks before our trip, Mike McAuliffe informed us that the property had major plumbing issues and that the floors would need to be torn up for repairs.
