7/30/25 -This is a very nice hotel. Everything is very clean and smells fresh. I really like that they use white sheets and blankets because you can tell right away that they're clean. The air conditioner worked really well and was very quiet. No complaints. Totally satisfied.
I was desperate for a room. My car broke down in Knoxville, Tennessee on the freeway. I came in with my service dog. I had waited five hours for the AAA tow truck which never came. I waited in a parking lot with homeless people on the corner. The attendant at the hotel was so nice to me. It was 10:30 at night and I was shaking so bad. He calmed me down, let me take my dog in, and gave me a bottle of water and a bag of pretzels. That was my lunch and dinner. That you so much whoever this gentleman was.
Rooms were adequate at best. Our room was not cleaned very well (We found hairs on the sheets,couch, counters and in the bathroom.) Breakfast was disappointing (no hot food available).
Excellent deal for the money. This hotel has been renovated and is very clean and spacious. It’s perfect for families or couples searching for an economical stay. It’s a short drive to lake activities and the small town charm of Telico Marina restaurant and Historical Sweetwater and even two ice cream shops. The parking lot is super spacious and would be a great place to park a boat or trailer during your stay. The hotel is owned by a small partnership that provides excellent service. Our four night stay to visit family in the area was great. The pool was so welcome! All our needs were met.
