GVT is totally unreliable. A bus running on time seems to be the exception not the rule. Their fleet consists of buses in such a state of disrepair that some of them feel unsafe to ride.
First off, I'd like to say that there are a lot of good people working for and driving for GVT. Other than that GVT is a total dumpster fire. Half of their fleet needs to be taken off the road, some of their buses are literally posing safety risks. GVT rarely makes repairs to their fleet. I guess the philosophy is to run their buses until they break down, many of them do while out on their routes. If you are employed and are thinking about using GVT to commute, think again.
