The nurses and the secretaries were all super nice. I had been told that Dr. thente was a good doctor but bad with people and that turned out to be very true. Walked in barely said a word. We drove from Petoskey, did like 2 tests that lasted maybe 5 minutes said something to the nurse wouldn't even acknowledge that I was waiting for what he had to say. All he said to the nurse was no glasses, year and a half. So I'm trying to ask him a question and he just waves and walks out. So maybe a knowledgeable man, but down right awf... read more

I initially had a poor experience here picking up glasses but after I addressed my concerns I feel that the staff gave the appropriate level of service during my next visit. The optometrist I saw was very good at the work as well.

I am Christian, but I do not appreciate being pushed religion when I go in for an eye exam. Why do you have a preacher talking at me through a speaker in the waiting area? How inappropriate. Try easy listening music instead. Coming into a clinic people are generally nervous. I don’t need to be preached at when I’m nervous about seeing a healthcare provider. It’s also very exclusionary.
