Good food, great views and bears, oh my! We don't ski, but we visited Grand Targhee one day during the summer to ride the ski lift to the top of the mountain. What a view! The ride up was chilly and a little windy but it was a tad scary in a thrilling sort of way. I recommend it. After we came back down, we ate at Trap Bar & Grille. Good food and lots of activity going on. We almost didn't make it before we left Idaho. And really exciting as we drove back home, we saw two BEARS off in the distance cavorting down the hill.
Bad Value This place advertises on the Internet that they are 17 miles from the airport. In reality, they are closer to 60 miles from the airport, and you have to drive through curvy mountains. The manager was rude and uncooperative. For being so far out of town, the prices should be more compatible with other nearby places.
