I never write reviews but I had to for this hotel because when it comes to sleeping in hotels I am very picky. (Not "Karen level" picky, I don't yell and complain to the staff, but if a hotel isn't up to great standards I just won't stay there again) I had a hotel booked in North Conway. Was here with a group of people. Bartenders couldn’t have been more difficult. It as apparent they didn’t want to work It’s summer….things are slow. I’m at a hotel where the closest beer is 20 minutes away by car…..these folks want to get out of here. It’s 8:17.

Pros: Rooms larger than usual. Grand lobby interior. Cons: Hot tubs were drained. Sauna was barely warm. No soap available, had to wash my hands with shampoo! Curtains designed very poorly so don't block the light.

I reserved the deluxe studio room and they put me in the basic studio which is a much smaller room. When i went back down to the desk i was told i had a magic couch (my words not his) that the couch pulls out to a sleeper so magically the room gets larger. They did nothing to help me not even refund me for the cheaper room!! I was a solo guest so no they weren't trying to accommodate more people.
